World-renowned British rapper Skepta has been a longtime Nike collaborator – so far he has remixed four pairs of Air Maxes and Shox. Way back in 2019, before his nike chaussure homme collaboration dropped, rumours started circulating about another sneaker venture between the duo. According to that talk, the grime superstar was also meant to be releasing a collaborative Air Max Tailwind 5! Well, we’ve now received some imagery of the potential pair from Air Max fiend and ‘Airducator’ airmaxarchives.

According to the rumour, the nike chaussure femme was meant to hit shelves in 2020, however due to the year it was, the release was delayed. Readying it up for a 2021 release, we’re pumped to have these pics pop up. Taking a look at the iteration, it looks like a fusion between the OG Air Max Tailwind 5 and the Tailwind 5 Plus. Using orange as the base, Skepta has laid down black webbing that matches the midsole, while a chromed out section towards the rear resembles the heel of the Air Max Tailwind 5.

Scheduled to make its debut early next month, the nike air force 1 has already been teased in several colourways, all of them featuring allusions to the sports research lab. The full molded uppers include ‘N.354’ printed on the lateral Swoosh, while the insoles are emblazoned with the research lab text. Composed in Racer Pink, Arctic Punch, Sail, and Opti Yellow, the fleshy design will no doubt be cause for some polarising commentary from the sneakersphere.

It’s been a long time coming: the nike chaussure air max is returning in under two weeks’ time. The other other other OG AM90 colourway was last seen in 2008 as a JD-exclusive in the UK, with international awareness restricted to the handful of pairs that successfully Brexited to users of Internet sneaker forums around the world (though a few size runs did make it to World NYC store). Before that, the ‘Spruce’ moose graced serious runners – including Australian champion Steve Moneghetti – during its 1990-91 debut. We digress.
