I think Pickett is an acceptable Madden NFL 23 quarterback, but I'm not sold on him being a franchise-defining quarterback. It's the low risk choice, with a low rewardand I sort of dislike it. I'd prefer Carolina take Malik Willis, if they want to roll the dice on a QB in 2022. At the very least, I'm seeing signs that Willis could be a top franchise quarterback in the next few years when he has the ability to put the pieces together.
In the presence of offensive tackles Evan Neal and Charles Cross at the helm, I do not like taking Pickett in only to be taken down by an offensive line that's not as good. This implies Rhule is likely to pressure this into happening.
Minnesota would be doing backflips in joy if the draft is unfolding like this. There wasn't too long ago when Stingley's name was on the list for the number. one overall pick, and nobody was expecting him to be lower than No. 3. Now the over-analysis that comes with draft season is setting the tone the stage for his stock to plummet.
If you're looking for a pure and plug-and-play cornerback Stingley is the top choice in the draft. He might not have the insane potential as Sauce Gardner has but he's certainly not too far away. If he's in the stadium at the Vikings selection, they'd sprint to the podium and laugh in awe of how they managed to catch him.
