"Can BOTOX Make Me Look Younger?"
Potential patients come to our Lenexa office to receive aesthetic treatments. They want to look younger. Everyone wants their best so that they feel their best. BOTOX, an aesthetic treatment that temporarily reduces wrinkles and lines can be used but it can't make someone look like they did in college.
What can Aesthetic injectable treatments do?
Dr. Margolin describes how skin ages like a piece or paper. You can fold a piece of paper in many different ways for decades and get permanent wrinkles. The same thing happens to our skin! By temporarily reducing wrinkles and filling certain areas, injectable treatments such as JUVEDERM and BOTOX can reduce the signs of aging.
What is BOTOX and How Does It Work?
Although this treatment can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, it is not as dramatic than plastic surgery. BOTOX can correct forehead lines and eyebrow wrinkles. This treatment reduces the appearance of lines and helps prevent them from creasing. BOTOX won't correct wrinkles or lines that result from facial loss. JUVEDERM is a dermal filler that can address those problems.
What is JUVEDERM exactly?

Difference between JUVEDERM (BOTOX) and JUVEDERM
What is the difference between Juvederm or BOTOX? Both therapies are aimed at the same outcome, but have different active components. These injections are administered by a doctor to the patient. or an experienced medical aesthetician. So you can make the best informed decision, learn about each distinction

What to Expect From BOTOX and Juvederm Treatments
Both Juvederm or BOTOX treatments take just a few minutes and are extremely efficient. Due to the amount of treatments required, larger areas may need more.
How long each treatment will last
Both treatments are effective but Juvederm is more effective and lasts longer. BOTOX is effective for a few days but fades after a few weeks. Additional treatments are necessary to maintain your results. Juvederm Filler Injections can be seen as soon as possible, according to the manufacturer.
BOTOX injections like Juvederm are quick and painless. The greater the area of skin that needs to be treated, you'll need more injections. Multiple injections may take slightly longer to complete. For BOTOX treatments to treat wrinkles, results can take between 24 and 48 hours.
The results of treatments
