"Can BOTOX Make Me Look Younger?"
We receive questions from potential patients who visit our Lenexa location for aesthetic treatments. We asked Dr. Margolin what advice he would give to patients with unrealistic expectations regarding aesthetic treatments. Dr. Margolin stated, "I tell potential clients the truth: I'm an M.D., not a magician." It's normal for people to want their best. Everyone wants to feel great. BOTOX and other aesthetic treatments may temporarily reduce wrinkles and lines, but they won't transform them into the supermodels of their youth.
What can Aesthetic Injectable Treatments do?
Dr. Margolin describes aging skin as a piece of paper. The paper will have permanent wrinkles if it is folded in different ways over decades. This is what happens in our skin. BOTOX and JUVEDERM injectables can temporarily reduce signs of aging by relaxing facial muscles or filling in specific areas.
What is BOTOX?
Although it reduces wrinkle appearance by relaxing facial muscles this treatment is not as dramatic as plastic surgery. BOTOX can correct forehead lines and eyebrow wrinkles. What is JUVEDERM exactly?

Difference between JUVEDERM (BOTOX) and JUVEDERM
What is the difference between Juvederm or BOTOX? Both therapies have the same goals, but they have different active components.
