August 2009 saw the establishment of Esimtech. It has advanced quickly in the field of the oil and gas industry thanks to its professional level and advanced technology in computer application research and development.

The first group of scientific researchers successfully created the first domestic drilling simulation device DS-1 in the mid-1990s to satisfy the needs of the expanding petroleum sector and oilfield continuing education. It received the high praise of "domestic leading, international advanced" and was given the third prize of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award after passing successive evaluations conducted by China National Petroleum Corporation and the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Commission. For this Special report, a Sichuan TV "Science and Technology Expo" program was produced.

We have successfully developed oil drilling, well control, logging, oil production, gas production, downhole operations, oil and gas gathering and transportation, fracturing and acidizing, drilling rig installation, coiled tubing, and pressurized operations after more than 20 years of perseverance and unceasing efforts. The product line of the engineering training simulation system includes applications for the whole oil and gas industry. Among these, the technology for the DS series drilling simulators has continued to advance and become more sophisticated. Users have praised the technical service and most clients have shown fondness and faith in it. Currently, it holds more than 95% of the domestic drilling simulation device market share and is actively growing abroad.

Of course, Esimtech has obtained a number of domestic and international patents, and has become a member of IADC and IWCF.
