Lesser Demons in OSRS are one of the most famous creatures in the game. While their loot isn't the most valuable, they provide a solid combat experience for mid-level players and are a frequent slayer quest.
Lesser Demons appear at three levels: 82, 84, and 96. Higher-level variants often appear in special areas, such as the Catacombs of Kourend and the Wilds. Although they can be found throughout Gielinor, certain locations are more effective than others due to accessibility and higher spawn rates. Below, I'll outline the best places to hunt Lesser Demons in OSRS.
For many players, one of the first places to encounter a Lesser Demon is the top floor of the Wizard's Tower, located south of the village of Draynor. This demon is trapped in a cage, making it a popular target for new players looking for an easy ranged or magical experience. Since it can only use melee attacks and cannot escape its cage, players can safely train it without taking any damage.
Crandor is another great location for free players to find Lesser Demons. This island is the center of the "Dragon Slayer I" quest, which you'll need to start in order to access. There are two level 82 Imps on the island, and 11 more located in the dungeon, accessible from the Karamja volcano. If you want to train in a less crowded area, the dungeon in Crandor offers a secluded spot with plenty of Imps to fight.
There are also Imps here for those willing to brave the dangers of the Wilderness. Free players can find two Imps near the Muddy Chest in the Lava Maze (Wilderness Level 40-45), and another two Imps southeast of the Demon Ruins (Wilderness Level 44-48). Remember to only bring what you're willing to lose, as other players can attack you here.
Members have a few additional locations where Imps can be found, one of which is the Wilderness Slayer Cave. This cave is located in the Wilderness, which means the same risks apply, but it offers the chance to fight seven level 94 Imps. It's worth noting that the drops here are slightly better than in other areas, and you can even get items from the Last Man Standing shop, making this a lucrative spot for those willing to take the risk.
Culund Catacombs is another top location for members. This dungeon features eight Imps and offers unique rewards, such as Ancient Fragments and Dark Totem Fragments, making it an ideal place for those farming for rare items. The entire area is multiplayer combat, so players should make sure to have at least 43 Prayers in order to use the Prayers of Protection. The layout here allows for effective AFK training, with auto-counterattacks and melee defense enabled.
Finally, the Tawri Dungeon is a classic choice for members looking for Imps. This sprawling dungeon is located west of Falador and is home to five Imps. To find them, head north from the entrance, then east and south, through the area with the Magic Axe and the Poison Scorpion. Once you get past the Chaos Druid, you'll find the Imps to the north.
Whether you're a free player or a member, there are several great locations in OSRS to hunt Imps. For free players, the Wizard Tower, Krandor, and the Wilds offer accessible options. Members can explore additional areas like the Wildslayer Caverns, the Culund Catacombs, and the Taveri Dungeon for more training opportunities and valuable drops.
