Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a charming town known for its beautiful scenery and lively community, but if you were thinking it was near the mountains, you would be a bit disappointed. Chapel Hill is located in the central part of North Carolina, which means it’s closer to the flatter Piedmont region than the mountains.
