Even though cost of NBA2K19 is the equivalent to a massive part of McDonalds' french fries with nba 2k20 mt coins, NBA2K20 is going to release in less than 3 months. It will consist of new gameplay upgrades that hopefully( don't take my word for this ) solves all the issues I listed previously. So it definitely makes sense to invest $60 on a polished product than to spend $3 on a game that you likely won't play in 8 months. The NBA has blossomed into a multi billion dollar market.
