The 7th JMA Editorial Board Meeting was held
On June 25, the
7th Editorial Board Meeting of the Journal of Management Analytics
(JMA), hosted by Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM),
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and organized by the International
Academy of Engineering (IAE) of Russia, was held in Moscow.Prof. Li Yuan
and Prof. Xu Lida, Managing Editors of JMA; Leonid Ivanov, Vice
President and Fellow at IAE; Prof. Wan Guohua, Prof. Zhang Pengzhu,
Prof. Liu Yi, Prof. Jiang Wei and Teacher Liang Xueling, members of
JMA’s Editorial Board; Ling Li, an overseas member of JMA’s Editorial
Board and a professor at Old Dominion University; Zheng Zhiqiang, a
professor at the University of Texas at Dallas; Gu Bin, a professor at
the Arizona State University, together with other guests attended the

Wan Guohua.Prof. Wan made a presentation about the overall development
of JMA and thanked Mr. Ivanov for his support to this meeting. Then, Mr.
Ivanov delivered a speech and welcomed the SJTU delegation. He also
introduced the situation of the IAE and looked forward to opportunities
for further cooperation and exchanges in the future.Teacher Liang
Xueling made a report on the annual work of JMA and reviewed the work
since the journal was launched. After more than five years of sound
development, JMA has become a journal with an increasingly great
influence. Its papers have been cited by more than 100 SSCI/SCI/ESCI
journals, including the top journal MIS Quarterly. It has a diversified
distribution of authors who come from more than 30 countries and
regions.
The editorial board consists of well-known scholars from 14
countries and regions. JMA has been included in nine important
databases such as Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) and Scopus. In
the 2018 Scopus CiteScore ranking, JMA scored 94 points and ranked 11th
out of 206 journals. The rapid development of JMA benefits from the
support of the school, the precise positioning and the global strategy
of the journal, and the joint efforts of the professional and efficient
editorial team.As a member of the editorial board of JMA’s special
issue, Prof. Zhang Pengzhu briefed the organization and preparation of
the 2019 International Seminar on Artificial Intelligence, which was
co-hosted by ACEM and Yokohama National University. At the seminar,
editors discussed issues including the status quo, trends and goals of
JMA, the road to a double-class journal, and the organization of next
year’s editorial board meetings and workshops.
