The initial installment in the Afterlives series is titled Bastion. It's not a cartoon video and more like slideshows, where still images interspersed with narration and expository. It follows a man, who was betrayed by a student and, once he gains the strength of a Convent is determined to get his revenge. It's quite dramatic.
