Jones was a four-star recruit who attended St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He’s a versatile player who can play at the nose or the right defensive end.

Denver Broncos selected Jones with the 71st overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He joins fellow Ohio State defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Christian Wilkins as Broncos picks this year.
He played a variety of roles in college, including inside linebacker and on the edge. He was a part of Ohio State’s defense in 37 games, starting 32 times.
He was named the Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2018 after registering 13.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks. He also had a pair of touchdowns off turnovers, including an interception and a fumble recovery.
