Oak Marsh is a classic Pete Dye course with tight fairways, small greens, meandering serpentine salt marsh creeks, and moss-draped heritage oaks. It features a variety of bunkers and bulkheaded putting surfaces.

The Golf Club of Amelia Island

The Golf Club of Amelia Island is one of Florida's most exciting and scenic golf courses. Its course features 18 holes and is designed by two PGA-Tour veterans. Its beautiful scenery, including ocean views, make it a must-play course for any golf enthusiast.

Located in the heart of Amelia Island, the club offers world-class golf that is both challenging and rewarding for players of every skill level. The course features tight fairways, natural hazards, and spectacular salt marshes. The course also includes a variety of native trees and foliage, pristine greens, and rolling dunes.

Long Point is a member-owned course open to club members and resort guests on a limited basis. A Tom Fazio design challenges golfers with its natural obstacles and breathtaking views. The course is surrounded by lush marshes, oak forests, and dunes, and it offers a unique golf experience with a mix of straight-away and dog-leg holes. Mounded fairways, natural waste bunkers, and true putting Tif Eagle greens shape its unique character.

There are historic tours on foot, in a trolley, or by horse and carriage, nature paths and eco-tours, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beach.

Oak Marsh

If you love the game of golf, you'll love Oak Marsh. This classic Pete Dye design is set within a stunning setting of salt marsh creeks and moss-draped heritage oaks. Its tight fairways and seemingly tiny greens demand accuracy. And water comes into play on 14 of its 18 holes. The course also features a variety of sand bunkers and bulkheaded putting surfaces, adding more challenges to an already difficult layout.

The course is also known for its lush vegetation and dramatic dunes. The course has hosted several resort tournaments and is a favorite among many golfers. Its scenic ocean views and pristine salt marshes will take your breath away. It is a must-play course for anyone visiting Amelia Island.

Oak Marsh is a beautiful, challenging course that requires accuracy and a precise shot. It is not a walkover course, but it is a fun and rewarding challenge for all levels of players. And the staff at Oak Marsh is always ready to assist you with your round.

Little Sandy

Little Sandy is the new 10-hole par-three course in Omni Amelia Island Plantation's amenity core. Designed by Beau Welling, the course promotes camaraderie and community. The course features a range of amenities for all players. Its large greens are characterized by dramatic contours and multiple pin positions, making them challenging for more experienced players. Rental sets, including a putter, wedges, and a 9-iron, are available. Players may also bring their bags. Little Sandy is a walking course, and golf carts are not allowed.

Welling said he believes more golfers are seeking options that allow them to play a round of golf without spending an entire day on the course. He added that the increase in par-3 courses is a good thing because they help golfers focus on shots they have a chance of making rather than the ones they're less comfortable with.

Located north of Jacksonville, Florida, Omni Amelia Island Resort is a 1,350-acre oceanfront destination on a barrier island that offers more than 400 oceanfront guest rooms and suites. The property features a beach; 23 Har-Tru(r) tennis courts; seven pickleball courts; an award-winning spa; and the largest pool deck in Northeast Florida, with tiered lounge seating, an adults-only infinity-edge pool, a family-friendly pool, kids' splash area, two hot tubs and fire features with Atlantic views.
