The academic language essay writing
The language used in an academic text can vary greatly, but follows some general guidelines. Some of them are presented here together with illustrative examples.
Nonfiction
Essential to all writing is a certain awareness of genre. Different texts have different purposes and therefore different language. A characteristic of freeessaywriters academic texts is that they are written in non-fiction. Nonfiction aims to inform about facts, to present known facts and, perhaps most importantly in the case of academic texts, new knowledge developed in accordance with the requirements of science, both in terms of form and expression.
Nonfiction can be described as impersonal. This does not mean that you, the writer, should not be visible in the text, but rather that your research and analysis should not be coloured by your own opinions or preconceptions. So you should not avoid writing "I" at all costs, but in some cases it may be appropriate to type me an essay and keep your own "I" out. The most common way to avoid an overly "I"-heavy text is to use passive forms.
I chose to do my research in a secondary school. I contacted a teacher via email, who I then had to make my observations with. I observed the class for 60 minutes.
Comment: In the example above, the use of I is not entirely unproblematic, as it concerns the choice of method, but the text can be perceived as too personal and I-centred. A better alternative is to rephrase using passive constructions:
The study was conducted in a secondary school. A essay writer online service was contacted by email and the observation was then carried out in his class. The observation lasted 60 minutes.
The passive form thus aims to keep the agent, i.e. the performer, outside. It should be said that the passive form can make the text appear difficult to read and the message ambiguous, and in most contexts an active form is recommended. At the same time, the passive form is useful when it is not necessary to say who is performing an action. So if you want your own 'self' to appear as little as possible, a passive form is a possible solution.
