There are other things to look for in a bong, such as airflow restriction and smoke diffusion, but you won’t really know the airflow until you’ve used it for a few times.
The first three on the list are very important as they will determine the longevity of your glass if you are careful with it. If you throw your bong around, no amount of sturdiness will save it.
If you are clumsy, you’ll want your bong to have as few moving parts as possible. Parts that stick out far from the core of the bong also contribute to them being easily breakable, so you might want to keep that in mind while shopping as well. They usually have a cylindrical neck which goes all the way down to the bottom of the bong and ends with a disc, which gives tube bongs the stability they so lack.
There’s nothing wrong with tube bongs, in fact, they offer a lot of variety. Tube bongs often have percolators and other parts that make them visually attractive.
They are usually very easy to clean and the smoke clears pretty fast because of the simple shape.Beaker bongs are similar to tube bongs in the sense that they also have a long neck. However, at the bottom of the neck, the bong doesn’t end, as it would with tube bongs.
At the end of the neck in beaker bongs, you’ll find a chamber that is added for extra smoke. This gives beaker bongs a bigger volume and bigger hit potential.
Beaker bongs get their name from looking somewhat like beakers used for chemistry and such. The extra space on the bottom is filled with more water than in tube bongs. This gives them extra stability. The age-old question that many cannabis enthusiasts like to argue about is whether you should get a bong or a quality bubbler?
Bubblers are much smaller than regular bongs. They are often referred to as water pipes. The main difference between the two boils down to size and volume.Bubblers are usually meant for one person, while bongs are more apt for sharing as you can get bigger hits.
The volume of the bong is also very important as it will determine how much smoke you can take in. Human lungs have a volume of 6 liters on average, which is 200 Oz fluid, or 1.5 gallons.
The cannabis lifestyle has a lot of jargon that it throws around. There are many terms for pipes, bowls, bongs, and endless names for weed. I have my preferred phrases for sure. If you peruse the items on our online headshop, you'll find constant references to blazing, bong rips, and stacking hits. This last phrase I realized recently is an outlier because it has to do with a technique that not all smokers may use or even know about. It's a method unique to bongs, so you won't be doing this with one hitters or other small pieces. To get more news about mushroom bong, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
You could be stacking hits and not even know it. Stacking your hit is the best way to hit a bong. Hit stacking occurs when you hit a bong, and the smoke gathers in the chamber and does not move significantly up the mouthpiece. As you continue to run the bong, you can smoke more and more of the bowl and keep the smoke in the body without actually inhaling it until you decide.
There are several ways to hit a water pipe. Depending on the design of a bong, there is usually an ideal way to smoke out of it. Most people who have a bong own one that is based on a tube or a beaker design. As long as your bong is medium-sized or has a middle perc, you'll be able to stack hits in the chamber. The key to accumulating runs is keeping your breath under control. If you hit a bong too hard, you lose on two fronts. When you inhale too quickly, you risk sucking unburnt weed into the water wasting it, and your hit will travel up through the mouthpiece because of suction instead of stacking.
To correctly stack hits you need to inhale slowly and steadily. Start with you lighter next to the bowl and gently pull filling up the empty chamber with smoke. Keep gently hitting until you run out of breath. Then with your next inhale, remove the bowl and quickly inhale a large amount of smoke all at once. You will be blazed.
This method of bong smoking gets you super high because you're smoking most of the entire bowl at once. If you merely hit the bong super hard and keep hitting, the smoke from the hit will travel to your mouth before you are ready to clear the bong, and the smoke will be harsher. Stacking a hit allows you to get a colossal bong rip without the harshness since the hit is slowly filtered and the bowl isn't torched all at once.
When it comes to the best ways to clean your bong, Reyna and Navarro maintain that you don’t need fancy solutions. The classic rubbing alcohol and salt mixture is still the best way to keep your piece looking brand-spankin’ new, they say. “Those are two things [are things that] people have in their homes already. Let’s keep our community inclusive by using accessible products,” suggests Navarro. To get more news about cheap beaker bongs under $50, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
To clean your bong, first take out all removable pieces (like the mouthpiece and pipe). Pour 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol into the bong and add some coarse salt, such as Epsom or rock salt, as an abrasive. Shake your piece for about five minutes, then rinse with water and soap. Vinegar and rice will also work, but Navarro and Reyna prefer the former method.
You can also buy commercial pipe cleaners, but Navarro points out that many “aren’t necessarily the best for the earth. I find, for the most part, isopropyl alcohol and rock salt always do the trick. I love this method, not just because it works,” she says, “but because it supports the idea of conserving the legacy of cannabis, and continuing what has been working for so long. But please keep in mind the conservation of our planet and our waterways. Don’t be wasteful with water you use to clean.”
Whether you’re looking to save yourself a trip to the head shop, or prefer to restock from your own couch, we’re rounded up some of the best bong cleaning products inspired by our experts’ recommendations.
“I would suggest a 99% as it cleans everything,” says Reyna. Lower percentages of alcohol “can leave other bacteria somewhat dormant if not left in for a certain amount of time.”
Isopropyl alcohol, the effective ingredient in rubbing alcohol and homemade sanitizers, sold out during the pandemic. If you can’t get 99% alcohol, Reyna says 91% will still do the job. “Just soak it longer to be safe,” she recommends.
“The first product I ever used to clean my pipes and bongs was from Formula 420, so I still use a lot of their cleaning accessories because they have worked so well over the years,” says Reyna. The brand’s cleaner formula is non-toxic, biodegradable, and safe for glass, ceramic, and metal.
5. Formula 420 Universal Cleaning Caps and Plugs Set These reusable soft plugs and caps by Formula 420 will ensure a spill-free cleaning session. “I really like to use their accessories when I dump all the salt and alcohol in so nothing can come out when I’m shaking it up,” says Reyna. “Cleaning your bowl on each side with a Q-tip after every other use really helps keep your bowl fresh and easier on the cleaning process as you will have less junk to clean up,” Reyna says. “A friend suggested it to me once and it really helps as the alcohol is less dirty and can get another use of it.”

Dozens of artists from around the West Coast gathered Friday in a rented studio. They huddled around scorching hot ovens of glass.
Joints were passed; Pink Floyd rattled the speakers. There was one collective goal:"Essentially this is the Freedom Bong," head glass blower Charles Lowrie told Q13 News. "This is the time of life we arriving to collective consciousness."
Friday was the first of a three-day event led by Jerome Baker Designs. It's the culmination of a collaborative effort to build a 24-foot bong, nicknamed #Bongzilla. The glass bong will weigh thousands of pounds, and will be on display at Cannabition, a cannabis museum planned for Las Vegas.
But before it's put together, the glass must be blown. No small feat for the artists, even with their decades of experience in blowing bongs."We're dipping up a good 45 to 50 pounds of hot glass out of this furnace," Lowrie says. "The furnace holds about a thousand pounds."
Anything this big in glass needs to be done in stages. Each day through Sunday, artists will be dipping and molding, all toward the final construction. The bong is expected to be finished in a month or two."This thing will be over two stories high," Lowrie said. "(Each blow) is just one of the components to that masterpiece."
The bong was dreamed up as a way to "create works of art that bring relevance to the functional art glass world," a spokesperson for Jerome Baker Designs said. They chose Seattle as the place to construct the bong because of Washington's marijuana laws. Of course, the informal marijuana holiday of April 20 played a roll.
Federal agents have seized a shipment of nearly 4,000 glass bongs at Washington Dulles International Airport. To get more news about cheap big bong, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
According to the U.S. Customs and Board Protection, the 3,738 “prohibited” bongs arrived from China on Oct. 3 — labeled as “gravity pipes” — and were addressed to a location in Los Angeles County, Calif.CBP officers detained the shipment and submitted photos and documentation to international trade experts at the agency’s Consumer Products and Mass Merchandising Centers of Excellence and Expertise.
Last week CBP import specialists confirmed that the apprehended goods, worth $ 56,033, “violated U.S. laws on the importation of drug paraphernalia,” the agency said Wednesday in a news release. The announcement came just two days after CBP officers seized more than $13,000 in unreported cash that was concealed in an envelope inside a carry-on bag.
A couple traveling from the D.C. airport — who had reported that they were carrying a combined total of $10,500 — had a combined currency of $23,641, instead. The money was seized “for violating U.S. currency reporting laws” and the couple was later released “with $641 as a humanitarian relief.”
Federal law requires travelers to report all currency $10,000 or greater to CBP officers.“The seizures of glass bongs and unreported currency may seem innocuous at first,” Daniel Escobedo, CBP area port director for Washington, D.C.
“However, they illustrate the resolve and commitment that Customs and Border Protection officers and specialists [do] every day to enforce our nation’s laws, to enhance our nation’s economic vitality through lawful international trade and travel, and to help keep our citizens safe,” he added.
According to the agency, CBP officers seized an average of $386,000 every day last year “in unreported or illicit currency along our nation’s borders.
The catch phrase has gone viral on NBA Twitter, and every win brings with it more bings, and more bongs. Just one week into the season, the Knicks were first in the Eastern Conference. To get more news about big bongs, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
It all started on opening night, when the Knicks beat the Boston Celtics in a double-overtime win in front of a ruckus Madison Square Garden crowd.
One win in, and Knicks fans reacted like they’d won an NBA Title. Sidetalk NYC posted some fan reaction from right outside of MSG.Bing bong is a completely randomized set of words. It has no meaning, making it all the more hilarious.
“It’s a double-reference that is 1. commonly said in our Coney Island episodes and was invented by Coney Island rapper Nems and 2. is the sound heard in the Sidetalk intro,” Trent Simonian and Jack Byrne told Complex Sports. “Since it is a well-known Sidetalk reference and fans recognized us filming an episode outside of the Knicks game, Jordie saw us and threw in a ‘bing bong’ adlib. We added it into the Knicks episode as a reference to our previous episodes and it has since caught on as the Knicks’ unofficial slogan for the start of the season.”
Arcimoto, Inc.® (NASDAQ: FUV), makers of fun, affordable, and ultra-efficient electric vehicles for everyday drivers and fleets, today announced a collaboration with Lightning Motorcycles with the goal to develop the fastest tilting three-wheel motorcycle in the world—gas or electric—using its patented Tilting Motor Works TRiO tilting trike technology. To get more news about davincidynamic, you can visit davincimotor.com official website. From the moment I met Richard Hatfield and saw the Lightning for myself at Bonneville, I knew there was the potential to create an electric trike unlike anything in the history of motorcycles, ” said Bob Mighell, Arcimoto’s Chief Tilting Officer, who himself broke the land-speed record for 3-wheeled motorcycles at the 2013 Motorcycle Speed Trials held at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. “This will be the first time we outfit an electric bike with the TRiO kit, and it certainly won’t be the last, as we drive toward a sustainable future faster than ever before.”
The Lightning SuperBike set a record as the world’s fastest production motorcycle, electric or otherwise, with the SCTA official World Record of 215.960 mph and a best timed run of 218.637 mph at Bonneville during Speedweek in 2011. The record-setting run was powered entirely by solar energy at an estimated cost of only 8 cents.
“As the world’s leading manufacturer of high performance electric motorcycles, we are excited to bring our technology and know-how to the collaboration with Arcimoto for the three-wheel market. The convergence of our proprietary technology, the market adoption of EVs, and the widely recognized environmental benefits of clean energy propulsion make this an excellent and exciting time to bring these vehicles to the mass market,” said Richard Hatfield, Founder and CEO of Lightning Motorcycles. “Our vision is to see Lightning’s electric motorcycles provide performance-oriented and environmentally conscious transportation, as well as adrenaline inducing fun, for both new and experienced riders all over the world. This collaboration amplifies our vision. It’s an honor to build the first electric bike outfitted with the TRiO alongside ‘Bonneville Bob Mighell,’ who has proven throughout his career that trikes can, and should, fly.”
Arcimoto’s Tilting Motor Works TRiO is the leading tilting three-wheel conversion kit for touring motorcycles. TRiO allows the rider to lean naturally, maintaining performance and the thrill of the ride while increasing safety, stability, and confidence. TRiO kits can be augmented with the TiltLock leveling system, allowing the bike to stand up by itself while stopped at lights or in traffic.
“This collaboration is something that could only happen between two legendary speed demons of Bonneville,” said Mark Frohnmayer, Arcimoto Founder and CEO. “While Plaid-level performance has never been a part of the Arcimoto narrative, proving our tilting trike technology beyond ludicrous speed will give us, and our customers, added comfort that our future micromobility solutions are stable under the most demanding conditions. Further this first adaptation of the TRiO for an electric motorcycle is in full alignment with Arcimoto’s mission to catalyze sustainable, emissions-free mobility.”
The first electric motorcycle assembled in Singapore was launched on Thursday (Dec 2), kick-starting the Republic's aim to grow a high-value automotive industry.Ion Mobility unveiled the Ion Mobius at its facility in Ayer Rajah Crescent, in a ceremony attended by Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry Tan See Leng.To get more news about DC100, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.
The home-grown company, with a paid-up capital of US$6.8 million (S$9.3 million), was founded by tech start-up whizz James Chan just two years ago.The Mobius is a battery-powered two-wheeler designed in Singapore. From parts sourced largely from China, the bike and its lithium-ion battery pack are assembled at Ion's facility in Ayer Rajah Crescent.
Its output is targeted at 500 motorcycles and 500 battery packs per month. A larger facility will be in Indonesia. Together, the two facilities are expected to produce 1,500 motorcycles per month by next year.
Mr Chan, 40, who is also Ion Mobility's chief executive, said: "It was our team's vision to create a viable electric alternative to the ubiquitous petrol-powered motorcycle. In recent years, we have seen an accelerated shift towards sustainable practices in the region."
One major market is Indonesia, where Ion will also have its assembly facility in Greater Jakarta. It is expected to start up by the first half of next year. Indonesia will be followed by Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.Mr Chan would not say when the bike will be available for sale in Singapore. "Being a home-grown brand, we'd love to sell in Singapore. But this is a small market, and as an entrepreneur, I have to look at the bigger markets first."
He would not say how much the Mobius will cost, but indicated it would be priced competitively against 155cc petrol models. Such bikes are around $5,000 without certificate of entitlement in Singapore, and in the region of 35 million rupiah (S$3,300) in Indonesia.
Mr Chan said consumers "face significant barriers in switching over to an electric motorbike that is comparable in power, range and reliability to combustion motorbikes".As such, a leasing plan will be offered alongside retail sales.
South-east Asia is home to more than 200 million petrol-powered two-wheelers. In fact, more than 80 per cent of households in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam own motorcycles.Converting these to electric models will improve local air quality, according to Mr Chan. "Motorbikes emit 16 times more hydrocarbons, three times more carbon monoxide and a disproportionately high amount of other air pollutants compared with passenger cars," he said.
