KITians won 1st place in national finals and selected for IEEE R10 International Robotics Competition 2024 to be held at Tokyo,Japan.
Exciting News!
We are over the moon to announce that KIT - Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology Students' project, "Underwater Robot for Inspection and Salvage," has been selected for the final rounds of the 2024 IEEE Region 10 Robotics competition!
The finals will be held at the Meiji University Nakano Campus, Tokyo on August 29 & 30, 2024. We're required to demonstrate the successful working of our robot and display a poster to the judging panel.
IEEE Region 10 will provide financial assistance for two team members who are IEEE student members to attend the finals in Tokyo. Also, the two-member team will be funded to attend the R10 Student/Young Professionals/Women-in-Engineering/Life Members (SYWL) Congress on August 31 and September 01, 2024, at the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center, Tokyo.
