Step 1-Download Netflix Party
To start the process, you'll need to download the Netflix Party extension to your Chromebook, Windows, or macOS laptop or computer. For this, make sure you have a Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome extension available on your device.
Step 2- Pin the extension to the toolbar
After installing, click on the “puzzle icon” next to the address bar. Now, click on the “Icon of the extension” and pin it there.
Step 3- Sign in to your Netflix account
Then sign in to your official Netflix account. You need to ensure a smooth subscription of your account for flawless streaming in sync. Similarly, all the participants you want in your Watch Party will need to carry their own separate subscription to Netflix.
Step 4- Select Search and Run All Simultaneously
In this step, find the video you want to stream in sync. When you find the relevant options, click on Favorites, then play it to move on to the next step.
Step 5- Create a Netflix Party
To create a Netflix party, click on the “ICON” which you can easily view on the toolbar. A window named “Create a Watch Party” will automatically open. Click on the “Start a Party” button located on your current window to generate the invitation link.
Step 6-Copy and Share the URL
In the last step, all you need to do is copy the Watch Party URL and share it with the desired friends in your Watch Party. Feel free to share this link with anyone in the world because the people you share the party link with will be able to join you in the watch party. So, add as many people as you want and enhance the streaming experience.
Step 7- Watch Party
To join the watch party download the extension and click on the invite URL to be taken directly to the streaming site. Once you click on the URL, you will need to sign in to your Netflix account. Also, make sure to have an updated subscription on your Netflix account to prevent future glitches.
