In the majority of states, motorists who drive faster than the statutory speed limit are instantly fined for reckless driving. These fines are frequently imposed by state law enforcement agencies when a driver exceeds the posted speed limit by more than 25 miles per hour. That is the case, at least, in terms of American law. Most of the time, drivers choose to purposely race their cars on highways while using 30 in wheels, endangering both themselves and others. Racing becomes extremely risky as drivers try to gain an advantage by occupying both lanes of a two-lane road or by attempting to cross into the opposing lane of traffic.
