Before taking this medicine
Do not use Darvocetif you are allergic to acetaminophen (Tylenol) or propoxyphene. Propoxyphene may be habit-formingand should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. An overdose of Darvocet can be fatal.Overdose symptoms may include extreme drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), pinpoint or dilated pupils, confusion, seizure (convulsions), cold and clammy skin, blue lips, weak pulse, slow or uneven heart rate, shallow breathing, fainting, or breathing that stops.

Darvocet may impairyour thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using any other cold, allergy, pain, or sleep medication.Acetaminophen (sometimes abbreviated as "APAP") is contained in many combination medicines.
