Chess Game Rules – Draw The Chess game rules say that a Chess game can end in a draw. Given below are some of the reasons how a chess game can end in a draw.
· In case of a Stalemate, when the King of player, having his turn, is not in Check but the player does not have any other legal moves to make.
· If there are not sufficient pieces on the board for a Checkmate.
· In case players choose to mutually stop the game. Any player can offer such a draw by saying – ‘I offer a draw’. The opponent can take as much time as they want to come to a decision. Once they agree verbally, they shake their hands. But, on the other hand, if they choose to move, 168pg then they can decline the offer. Just note that, it is impolite to ask the opponent to draw the game at their turn as this can distract them from their game.
