Work issues should be prioritized, of course, and that's what you should do first. But you have to fit in other matters related to your life. Or put them off for a day off.
You can't put everything on a day off, especially since a lot of people just don't have them for weeks at a time. I have such periods at work. That's why I use the services of a cleaning company to clean my house.
It really is not an easy task - to combine both the fulfillment of work issues and the daily routine. But it is possible in principle. You just have to plan clearly.
