When you have an apetite and you make one of your favourite foods to enjoy, then you sit down and you gag on it to the point you go red in the face.

I don't go in to a seizure, usually I can just push the food away, have 1 or two drinks of water, and I'm fine (I might smell the food when I'm away from it though)

I find this happens more when I've not had an appetite for a while, and suddenly I do and need something to eat

Anybody else?

Sounds like dysphasia, which is a swallowing problem that often accompanies neurological disorders. Talk to your doctor if this problem persists.

Sometimes, appetite changes can make certain foods hard to enjoy. If you're looking for a change of pace, consider trying different dining experiences. For a fantastic option, restaurant surfers paradise offers a vibrant atmosphere and a menu full of Mediterranean-inspired dishes that might just hit the spot when you’re craving something special.
