A new moon spacecraft landed in a pre-designated zone, the unexplored Apollo Basin crater, which is in the larger South Pole-Aitken (SPA) basin on the back side of the Moon. The mission collected lunar dust and rocks weighing up to 2 kilograms. The samples were then transferred to the return capsule, which brought them back to Earth, Chang'e-6 Is on Its Way To Return Samples From the Far Side of the Moon. This mission not only contributes to our understanding of the Moon’s geology but also paves the way for future lunar expeditions.
