1. The first thing to do is select the “Employees” menu.
2. Then Go to “Payroll” option.
3. Now from the top bar, menu choose the “Use My Existing Payroll Service”
4. In the Account Maintenance window, choose “Add File“.
5. Now select the “Add to Subscription Number” XXXXXXXXXX-(SUBSCRIPTION NAME) radio button.
6. After this, provide your information that includes Zipcode and select other “I have an existing subscription if you do not see your own subscription in the list.”
7. In case, the radio button (Add to Subscription Number XXXXXXXXXX-(SUBSCRIPTION NAME) is not available, that signifies that the payroll service has already been authenticated in the company file.
8. You can move the EIN to your existing subscription if you have a service key in the file and wish to “add the EIN” in your existing subscription.
9. Now click on the “Next” button.
10. Click next again in order to add the company EIN at no extra fee when the “Review Information” window gets displayed.
11. After this, choose the “Print” tab or go back to QuickBooks. You will find a payroll subscription window open to validate and the service is automatically added.
12. Now you have to verify the “Service Key”.
13. Click on “Employees” section.
14. Then go to “My Payroll Service” option.
15. From the top menu bar, choose the “Manage Service Key” tab.
16. Tap on “View “and it will open up the new service key with an Active Status.
